south african kwaai diva umlilo shows off futuristic genderqueer style in collaboration with photographer stuart hendricks

November 18, 2016

South African Kwaai diva Umlilo and street photographer Stuart Hendricks have teamed up for this gorgeous photo collaboration inspired by Umlilo’s androgynous and genderqueer personal style. Unconfined to the gender segregation found in fashion, the performer pairs glossy pink lips with sculpted locs, embellished tops, and sneakers and silky tops with bold prints. Their quirky style channels elements of tribal, vintage, and nu-wave futurism. Check out the collaboration below!
