feature: honor among thieves’ debut is a hard rock kick in the teeth #soundcheck

March 13, 2015

NYC’s hard rock quartet Honor Among Thieves’ self-titled full length should come with a beer and a shot. With influences from Motorhead to Living Colour, the band’s music is a fierce kick in the teeth. Single “Friday Night Breakdown” is sleaze-rock at its finest. An ode to getting fucked up on the weekend, “a couple whiskey / followed by some lime,” it’s old school NYC hard rock like they don’t make anymore. The full record is available over at CD Baby, and the band will be rocking Arlene’s Grocery on March 18th.
